Definitely made for day working but could actually work rather well as a console or something for a tricky alcove. We've even considered this as a rather fine dressing table and can most certainly see our mirror and makeup sitting very pretty indeed. Pair with a plain black side chair so as not to distract from the rattan vision or one of our carver chairs for extra comfort.
